STEELY DAN "Katy Lied" rare Original Master Recording Audiophile release from Mobile Fidelity Sounds Lab (MFSL 1-007). Half Speed Mastered Audiophile pressing of their classic album from 1975. One of the most sought after titles in the original Mo Fi catalog. Includes the classics: Black Friday, Bad Sneakers, Doctor Wu, etc. Sleeve is EX. Record is EX.
About this album:
This Album isfrom my personal collection. My collection primarily is the early 70s andthough the 80s. Rock, Jazz, SoulBack in the 70s I was a sales representative for a high end stereosystems store.
( Audiophile Gear) I stillhave the gear and will consider selling.
After selling stereo gear for several years, I opened a recordstore,
(Happy Jack's Record Shack) Now I was able to satisfy my need and passionfor my increasing love of music.
All of my collection has been played on high end equipment andnever loaned out. The turntable used is a Denon DP 1000 Direct Drive Turntablewith a Infinity BlackWidow Low Mass Tonearm, tracking at less than 1.5 grams witha Supex SD-900 Moving Coil Cartage.
These albums have never been played on a cheap "vinylgrinder" turntable, preserving all the quality and harmonics that vinylrecording have to offer.
Additional and this is very important, they were always handledwith the greatest of care. These albums were only held by the edges and label, neverthe grooves.
Most importantly always cleaned will a "Diskwasher"before playing and store in their jackets.
So now come the time for me to part with my prized recordcollection.
