Description

Brand new, factory sealed copies in mint condition. This 2021 Record Store Day drop #1 (June 12, 2021) listing consists of both Steely Dan LP's "Two Against Nature" and "Everything Must Go" released on vinyl for the first time. Both these release are Out of Print and were limited pressings. Listing photos are of the actual two items you will receive. Photos of Two Against Nature show some price tag label remnants on the shrink wrap as well as a small upper right corner bump on the LP sleeve.

Two Against Nature
In 2000, Steely Dan duo Donald Fagen and Walter Becker achieved both commercial and critical success with their long-awaited album Two Against Nature, which was released following a twenty-year hiatus.  The album charted at #6 on the US and Canadian Charts, earned a Platinum certification in the USA, and went on to win four Grammy Awards including the prestigious Album of the Year.  For RSD Drops 2021, Two Against Nature will achieve another first, as it will be released on vinyl for the very first time, skillfully cut by the album’s original mastering engineer Scott Hull.  It will be pressed on audiophile 180g double black vinyl for the discerning Steely Dan fans, and feature an etching on Side 4.

Everything Must Go Everything Must Go is Steely Dan’s final studio album with founding member Walter Becker. It was released in 2003, thirty years after their debut album and ended their studio album releases on a high with a Top-10 album in the US Billboard 200.  It features the track “Slang of Ages,” noted as the only Steely Dan song to feature Becker on lead vocals.  For RSD Drops 2021, Everything Must Go will be made available on vinyl worldwide for the first time. Expertly cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering and pressed on audiophile 180gram black vinyl for the discerning Steely Dan fans.
