LA POLIZIA STA A GUARDARE / TURNING POINT ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by STELVIO CIPRIANI. Original Italian pressing on the CINEVOX label (MDF 044), from 1973. Italian soundtrack grail by the maestro. For us, still one of the coolest hip hop tempo grooves with harpsichord of the genre ;) Sleazy infectious mood music from La Polizia Sta A Guardare (aka The Great Kidnapping aka The Police Look On aka Ransom!) the cult and violent poliziottesco / poliziotteschi / poliziesche / crime thriller film directed by Roberto Infascelli starring Enrico Maria Salerno / Jean Sorel and Luciana Paluzzi. The obsessive LA POLIZIA STA A GUARDARE theme is a killer example of early '70s Italian cop funk featuring Cipriani on psychedelic harpsichord and menacing Blaxploitation tinged orchestra. An unusual, syncopated lounge groove with stop-start / rolling drum breakdowns and head-nodding backbeat. Great for DJs and we love the way Cipriani deftly speeds up his harpsichord playing as the theme progresses. Comped on Roma Violenta La Cinevox Si Incazza. The TURNING POINT theme is also superb. Lightly haunting slow bossa cum carefree Morricone-esque lounge with that cinematic counter-culture ambience of the period. Lovely flute and guitar motifs / stylish giallo horror movie style electric keyboards / groovy fender bassline and gliding strings. Seldom comes up for sale in top condition. Amazing picture sleeve artwork with Andy Warhol inspired repetition print of the legendary first series Fiat 128 car. Rare OST 45!!! 

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with a few hairlines / faint scuffs. Some light surface noises. Superb production sound. The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) regardless of some ring creasing and a little edge wear to top open side from storage. A touch of corner wear in places. Top copy :) Rare OST 45!!!
