PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over (+)20,000 positive feedback count posted ... we deliver, geared to customer satisfaction!
We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! The forever sought-after original U.K. STEREO 1968 first album by Peter Green & Fleetwood Mac, a legendary bluesrock gem considered a classic among the British bluesrock sixties scene...
Fleetwood Mac released in 1968 their very first album and it's a jam packed British blues rocker with killer flourishes from beginning to end. The vocals are shared between Peter Green and second guitarist Jeremy Spencer.
Hardcore blues. That's what the record is, from top to bottom. And what could you expect from a group that graduated out of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers? The only question is: why did they have to quit Mayall if they didn't do anything different from what they did with him? Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood thought that a new hardcore blues band, with some injection of new blood and a relatively fresh approach, would rekindle the interest in 'roots-rock', so shamefully lost since the advent of the 'psychedelic' era. Thus the Mac took on an honorable function: serve as 'shining knights' of prime unadulterated blues-rock at an epoch when everybody was trying to get away from it. They performed that function with verve - proudly carrying the blues on their shoulders through 1967 and 1968 and caressing it as best they could until it became obvious that other bands, starting from the Beatles and especially the Stones, were getting back to their 'roots' as well - that's when the Mac started relinquishing theirs.
