A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!
Catalogue number: PCS 3062
(As a note, here are a couple of the differences to the usual MONO mix:
1. No Reply has a different mix.
2. Words Of Love is 9 seconds shorter than the Mono version.)

WOW! VERY EARLY PRESSING HERE
Vinyl: VG Lovely heavy vinyl. The vinyl does have quite a few light marks but still retains is glory! Played loud, you can hear a few background pops but with just gentle background noise-I think this adds to it's appeal! There is one tiny skip at the start of song 1 on side 2. A professional clean will easily give the vinyl a VG+ rating.
Labels: EX-. Lovely and clear. Just a few spindle marks only visible when angled towards bright light.

(Now, this is unusual as the MT tax code was only used from the 1st of Jan 1963 until the 1st of July 1963..
AND THIS RECORD WAS RELEASED IN DECEMBER 1964)

Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
Hardly any hole wear!
Lovely, clear silver text.
Cover: VG. STEREO outline in top right corner. Shiny front and back cover...There are a few spidering areas to the two sided laminate, with a light bend to the top.
The top right corner to the front has a small water stain.
The spine has been flattened and is a bit worn-but the title is still clearly legible.
Light knocks to the corners.
Far from trashed.
Wonderful strong flipbacks.
But, come on-we all know how delicate this gatefold cover is....I am being very critical and honest for you-you get what is described.

NO WRITING.
Inner: EX. Original "Use Emitex" with NO splits or tears, just very light feathering near the opening.
GORGEOUS
GRAB THIS LITTLE BEAUTY AS THERE WEREN'T AS MANY OF THESE PRODUCED BACK IN THE DAY-WHAT WITH STEREO BEING A LUXURY!
AND DON'T FORGET THE VERY EARLY MOTHERS/STAMPERS AND MATRIX ENDINGS!
