We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

'THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES'

TIME CAPSULE 1975  1ST EMI PRESSING

IMMACULATE LAMINATED SLEEVE AND RARE INNER

From a Private music business associate, this LP is from a collection of archived 'from new' LPs, all are simply outstanding condition with only one play of the vinyl...

See our others listed, there's a lot more to come from this collection-all in this amazing condition..

Released   1975

Label        EMI  EMC 3068

Matrix      YAX  4906 -3   Stamper: 1 P      (very low stamper)

                 YAX  4907 -2   Stamper: 1 M     (very low stamper)

THE VINYL   MINT-   INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the EMI  First press...it is in outstanding immaculate condition- archived with possibly one play only. The best example we have seen. MINT!!

The 'P' & 'M' mother stampers  in the dead wax show that this was one of the very first run- amongst the first 10-20,000 pressed.

This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

No spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

There is barely a hint of any whisp lines &  thats it-  nothing else!  There is a few light dust flecs on the vinyl where the LP has not been outside the sleeve for decades-  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION.

On playing through it sounded quite incredible..only the tiniest of lead in static and that was it..possibly a few litle dust static cracks along the way in a couple of places, that will probably not sound next time round..a professional hoover clean would remedy this.

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

THE LABELS   MINT  FLAT MATT LABELS

THE SLEEVE     MINT-   STUNNING

Correct  UK  RARE LAMINATED FINISH SLEEVE  first issued earliest sleeve with SQUARE SPINE

This is straight out the box from  1975 - incredible condition , we do not auction any sleeves that we deem to have 'wear' so rest assured you are looking at a sleeve of stunning condition..

The edges are all super clean with no traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition. This sleeve which is so hard to preserve without wear has clearly been stored away for decades!

The lamination is superb and gleams like a mirror with no dulling or bubbling anywhere.

No ringwear - just some very light ring press, and all edges are super crisp.

NO edge rub of any note !

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with not a hint of handling

The spine edge is totally unmarked -no dinks or wear at all.

a couple of tiny incidental laminate spider lines over the edges and sides.

WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, THIS SLEEVE IS  STUNNING QUALITY.

THE INNER SLEEVE   EX+ STRONG

Original THICK TEXTURED PAPER  inner with thumb scoop and double cut corners -a small blister on the bottom edge & one side (both around 1cm long)
