Description

Killer, rare 7" 45 EP by Steve Karmen. Songs are "Breakaway Theme". Original U.S. Promo only EP #GQP-1780 This rare 7" was released as a promo only through the Pontiac automobile company to promote their 1969 "Widetrackin' Breakaway" line TV commercial (GTO, LeMans, Grand Prix, Firebird). The EP features a total of 8 versions of the Breakaway Theme. The first song on first side being the long full version that was also issued on United Artists. Very rare promo only release. Condition is strong VG- near VG (6-) small outer edge heat lift, some surface scratches/surface scuffs, more so on the shorter one minute "snippets" side 2. Has some background surface noise, most audible at beginning intro, music loud above

Grading Scale:

10: Mint Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks, beautiful in every way. Very few records will make mint.

9: Mint- Very clean, only a few light marks. A great record.

8: Excellent (VG++) Condition between 7 and 9.

7: VG+ Used, but not abused. Light scratches only. Should play, and look very nice with minimal surface noise.

6: VG Still a nice record. Looks a bit used, light scratches, no gouges, still plays well, some surface noise.

5: VG- A bit rough but will play ok. Fills the collection.

4: G Plays very rough. Has multiple scratches. What a bargain!!

3-2-1: It only goes down from here.
