Description
- 2000 Roaratorio Records 01, this is an original US limited edition vinyl pressing (only 399 made) of the hard to find Steve Lacy LP "Sideways." This release features 2 pieces by Lacy with Irene Aebi and/or Richard Teitelbaum accompanying on side 1, while side 2 features the 20 minute piece "The Way/Pearl Street/The Duck" with Lacy accompanied by Michel Waisvisz and Han Bennink. Each jacket featured a custom painting by Judith Lindbloom. Jacket is a crisp NM-, showing only some minor handling. LP is a shiny and clean NM- as well, showing a few minor paper marks. Playback is solid throughout, while labels are clean with no spindle wear. First copy of this one I have ever seen. Buyer pays $4.00 media mail shipping in the US, $16.75 airmail overseas.
