About This Item: Rare beautiful near mint original first US pressing of Steve Morgen "Morgen" self-titled 1969 LP on ABC/Probe label with rare 10" x 20" insert which contains song lyrics and individual band member shots.The vinyl is near mint with not a single scratch to be found anywhere. Same with the labels where you won't find a single spindle mark either. The gatefold cover is VG+ with some light shelf wear, there's NO seam splitting, spine wear or ring wear on the front, there is some light ringwear on the back. Also, there's a small tear on the middle right side edge where there was some tape, in the same place on the back is a piece scotch tape put there back in '69 apparently for what reason I have no idea so that perhaps with a little patience and some lighter fluid it can be removed if so desired as it's about 1/2" x 1/2". It should also be noted that the shadows you see in the scan of the front(white) cover are not on the physically cover itself, for some reason the scanner picked this up which is does from time to time with white surfaces. The insert is like new. So there you have it folks. Overall, a more than respectable copy of this rare progressive psych classic. We just bought an amazing collection from someone who worked in the music business of rare and hard to find late '60s psych and prog LP's some of which are sealed, those which are not are either mint or near mint.
