up for auction here is a very nice 3 lp  box set of STEVE REICH & MUSICIANS: DRUMMING [deutsche grammophon records - stereo - 2740 106]. other tracks on this album are MUSIC FOR MALLET INSTRUMENTS, VOICES & ORGAN, SIX PIANO. 
this box set comes with the original 12 page book that has essays about the album, various other essays, & multiple full page photographs. the dimensions of the book are the same as the box itself. text in both english & german. 
also with this set comes a little somethin' extra. when i purchased this album, there was also 8 photocopied stapled together pages. they seem to be from a magazine article or a music book of some sort. five of the pages are an essay on steve reich, 2 pages are sheet music  for songs from this album, & the last page is an article on avant garde musician harry partch.
the records themselves are in virtually unplayed condition. just beautiful. the box that holds the set has some wear due to normal use. the front & back covers have very little wear, as does the spine. a few "dinged corners".
