STEVE REICH Drumming, Music for Mallet Instruments Voices, Organ Six Pianos 3LP Box Set plus Booklet
Recorded January, 1st 1974, Hamburg (Rahlstedt), Musikstudio
This box set comes from an extensive collection of classical records and reel to reels. All records were extremely well cared for.
Please note, this is a visual rating. Records have not been tested, they appear to have not been played. The only wear I see is storage marks on the box and some yellowing from age.

The box set is a fantastic layering and duplication of musical patterns on the the marimbas and the glockenspiels, along with manipulated durations of chords and notes infused with voice and organ. a truly unique and innovative experimentation and technique.
Reich has influenced many musicians, especially in the United States. Andrew Clements of the Guardian has said that Reich is one of "a handful of living composers who can legitimately claim to have altered the direction of musical history"
