Description

This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the fourth LP by Northern Ireland punk group Stiff Little Fingers, released in 1981.  Featuring lyrics by Irish journalist Gordon Ogilvie, SLF's best songs hit as hard as anything by the Sex Pistols or Clash.  This LP sees the band in transition from punk to power pop.  The three singles on the record bear this out: the anti-racist "Back to Front" is in the style of their earlier records, but the terrific follow up to it, "Just Fade Away," eschews politics for affairs of the heart, and "Silver Lining" adds horns (a trend that would become more prominent in their late singles).  The jacket is close to pristine with a little light creasing (M-).  The disc is clean, and plays with minimal surface noise (M-).  The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.

I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
