ALBUM DESCRIPTION: This is Musselwhite's 2nd album for Vanguard following his 1966 hit Lp Album, "Stand Back! Here Comes Charlie Musselwhite's Southside Band." Originally from Mississippi and later known as "Memphsis Charlie" this stunning Lp represents his great early success as "the king of the blues." Acquired in 1967 or 1968 and stored in the same record library to date. Highly recommended with excellent playback. Audiophiles... this stereo copy possesses fantastic harmonic structure and an enveloping sound stage. Recommended!
We play graded this Lp on our audiophile grade turntable and playback system, very nice! New cosmetic condition on the Album Cover (little if any shelf wear) no tears or skuffs. No mildew. We used a Shibata stylus (with excellent low noise results) to evaluate this Lp which uses a parabola instead of a cone shape to achieve a contact area four times greater than that of a spherical stylus.
This 33.3 RPM record has been well taken care of (properly stored) since new and has been kept upright in a dry, temperture regulated Lp record library. It should, upon your playback, achieve quiet surfaces and terrific vintage sound! We are audiophiles and are completely familiar with the lore of records and the technical requirements for superior playback. Here is a rare opportunity to purchase this hard to find Lp on this No Reserve auction.
