STONE-AGERS HYPER RARE OZ CUSTOM PRIMITIVE 50’S ROCK
According to the guy I got this from, the Stone- agers were a local band that played frantic rock’n’roll in Sydney’s city and inner west in the late fifties. Prestophone was largely a custom record company and this EP was available at their dances. There were 3 of them (guitar, piano and drums) and the sound suffers a bit by not having a bass player. But what they lost in a sophisticated sound they more than made up for in emotion. The cover suffers slightly in the front upper left as a little colour is starting to come away at the extreme edges.(see scan) and very,very light ringwear at the back. Apart from that- the condition is fantastic.
One of the rarest Oz rock’n’roll items from the fifties.
CONDITION WISE:

MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: Slight signs of having been played, no lessening of sound quality. Cover, label, extras are good.
VERY GOOD: played quite a few times, no real deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras slight amount of wear and tear.
GOOD: showing some wear and tear. Reasonable, playable sound. No major defects in record, cover, label, extras.
FAIR: Sound quality deteriorated. Cover, label, extras display folding, scuffing, marks. .
