THE STORY TELLERS-45-"Cry With Me" b/w "Little Boy Sad"-Trystero Records #T101-MEGA-MONSTER & KillerKool 1967 FUZZ Garage-Punk out of New Jersey...yes, a far cry from 'Snooki' on the Jersey shoreline today! Features future Bruce Springsteen alumni Danny Federici on Vox Continental organ...A side is a 5-star Fuzz-guitar-driven punker with a chop guitar rhythm and Vox Continental also in the mix. Great tortured lead vocals with a quick fuzz lead 'break'; in essence the fuzz guitar is basically non-stop throughout the duration of the song...B side is also great-the guitar player opted for no fuzz, but a primitive and barbaric approach with the other guitar player duking it out-great primitive and somewhat inept lead guitar break as well. Again, tortured lead vocals...this song is a group ORIGINAL-NOT the number made popular by Hermans Hermits and covered by countless others... Great 2-sider....KillerKool record and group...
Condition: Record is a solid VG+. At first glance looks like MINT-Minus, but in some light angles surface scuffs, paper scuffs are visible as well as some minor and very light wear on outer dead wax edge...really nice copy...some slight background noise on opening of the B side, but very slight and disappears after about 30 seconds in-overall plays fantastic.
Label clean both sides
