Description

Karl Böhm conducts Richard Strauss in The Woman without a Shadow with the Vienna State Opera Orchestra (Vienna Philharmonic) and Chorus. Soloists are Leonie Rysanek, Christel Goltz, Elisabeth Höngen, Hans Hopf, Paul Schöffler, Kurt Böhme. Original Decca ffrr issue after reopening of the Vienna State Opera in 1955. Pressing is mono, but frankly the reissue in stereo is rather lopsided in places - early Decca stereo setting up!! Covers are mint. Records are near mint.  A++++++
