ONE OF the most impressive early seventies hard rock bands around. I saw them many time from about '74 onwards and I must admit that they always delivered, especially guiatrist Derek 'Del' Bronham who alongside Tony McPhee and Alvin Lee was just about the best thing on two legs at the time.

The bands first 3 or 4 albums are the ones to get especially this, their classic debut. Signed to the primarilly folk based label Transatlantic records it was a major shock to find that Stray were a rampaging hard rock band with their eye on the sort of prize that Cream had cleaned up with a few years earlier.

Best described as super heavy psych the music is gut churning guitar fuelled rock kicking off with an all time classic track the extended, super long (Ten minutes!) 'All In Your Mind'. This cut is so influential that Iron Maiden covered it many years later as a B-side to one of their chart singles. The guitar playing is totally unique showcasing Bronham's brilliant lightning fast trechnique to maximum effect. 

An extremely tough album to find without the sleeve having been torn or mutilated over the years. This one is untorn and the vinyl is in superb shape!
