This is the original 1971 1st UK issue on the lilac Transatlantic label housed in the rare textured silver gold and black sleeve.
This is a beautiful copy of this British prog/acid rock album which takes few prisoners from the off. Even though at times there's a punk like feel/energy to their playing this is without doubt a prog album. Prog with attitude! In terms of today's bands the nearest that get to them 'musically' are Artic Monkeys but where they are lyric heavy, Stray are much more economical/instrumentally inclined. I believe this copy has only been played a few times and it belonged to a record company executive. The vinyl is superb and with the exception of two small dots (pin head size) which appear to be colour stains in the vinyl on track one of side two there would otherwise be no way of upgrading or bettering it. The vinyl still has its original full gloss sheen with no scratches and no hairlines. This is an Ex + 1st issue copy.
The sleeve is in excellent condition. There are no tears or splits, there is no writing on the sleeve, there are no bends and aside from some minor, barely visible ring wear at the top front and back of the sleeve and a few minor blemishes it would again be difficult to upgrade or improve on this sleeve.
The record labels are in mint condition. No writing, no spindle wear.
