Description

Good news punk fans - Victory Records are repressing a batch of classic titles, all out-of-print on vinyl.

A true ska-punk essential, Keasbey Nights was originally released in 1998 as the debut album from Tomas Kalnoky’s first band, Catch 22.

Having abandoned that outfit for the hugely successful Streetlight Manifesto, the frontman decided to re-record the album with his new band - with the second release unveiled in 2006.

Having made several amendments, Kalnoky explained his motives as follows:

“We wanted to get it right for once - plus it helps me sleep at night knowing blood, sweat, and tears were put into a record as opposed to making people pay thirteen bucks for a record and they only get flashy new cover art.

“This release is a preemptive strike, I guess.

“Whatever you want to call it, it'll piss people off, and that, at the end of the day, is all that really matters.”
