QUINTESSENTIAL ENGLISH progressive rock band who built up a sizeable and loyal following during the early to mid seventies mainly on the club and university circuit but also in Concert halls. This was their debut album featuring the fine vocals of Pauline and Chris Adams and Graeme Smith's unfeasibly impressive electric violin work ala Curved Air's Darryl Way (Smith would later go on to join Van Der Graaf Generator).
The material is surprisingly varied, jumping through a number of styles from lightweight folk rock to full on heavy prog. Amazingly it all works rather swimmingly, with tracks such as 'Heart feeder', 'Sold Down The River' and the title track leading the way atop such more trad prog faire as 'River Of Sleep'.

Vinyl: Superb clean and shiny condition. No spindle marks and no other signs of use. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
Cover: Again, virtually no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated gatefold cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is straight, stiff and completely uncrushed. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 48 years after release. Grades as top MINT-!
