About This Record.  This is another rarely seen . . . ER . . NEVER SEEN . . . LP from my Vinyl Vault, a NICE enough copy of Fraction and their Moon Blood LP from 1971 on Angelus Records with the weird red cellophane cover.  MONSTER Necessary Holy Grail Hard Psychedelic LP  (to use Hans Pokora's terms) for me, and you.  Only 200 copies pressed, and this is better than any one you are likely to see in your lifetime.  Took me 31 years to find a nicer copy at Ridiculous Expense.  But it was worth it!  Hans Pokora gives this his ultimate six (6) stars in his 2001 Volume, and Acid Archives gives this their highest rating of four (4), of course.  But what do they know? Anyways, this is searing heavy hard to extraordinarily cool  stuff, and it is one of my favorite ten (10) LPs on this planet.  (ones from a different planet merit a different discussion).

I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and foreign buyers in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase.  Comes hand-cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning machine (hate those automated 17's) and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren.  And at least one plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).

Cover Condition: Super STRONG Very Good (VG) Cover. The red cellophane and surrounding border is in exceptionally nice condition.  Price sticker mark top right front corner.  And most importantly, the seams and spine have tape around the corners, some of which show some splits.  But, like the Doors L.A. Woman LP window cover, this is very fragile.  I have never seen a Doors LP window cover this nice (ignoring tape on the seams, etc., before) with the border around the red cellophane cover in super nice condition.  Just the Tape, gosh darn it, . . . but it was placed there with love from the previous and likely original owner.  But given the tape, I  grade this Very Good (VG), but it is a nice die cut red cellophane cover so I think VG is extraordinarily conservative.  Most of the copies, when they do turn up, have massive wear on the cellophane window.  This one DOES NOT.  But it has the tape issue, and price sticker removal mark top right from when I bought this long ago, and far away, in a distant land where there is honey and milk and all the rare vinyl you might want!  HeHeHe.  Please See all the Photos I took.  I didn't take them for fun and frolic.

Vinyl Condition: Very Good Plus (VG+) Side 1 plays VG+ to EX; Side 2 plays VG to VG+.  So . . . Very Good Plus (VG+) Grade.  No skips, no sticks, no jumps, of course, nothing really nasty.  Just a noisy original pressing, and there are some light stylus marks that make some background noise and ticks and pops in some songs, more so on Side 2 because of the quiet nature of the songs, particularly at the beginning.

Labels. Near Mint (NM) labels.  See Photo.  Please see photos of all labels.

Inserts: Comes with PHOTOCOPY of the original lyric/photo inner sleeve (copied from my personal copy).  The original was black with white print, and was the standard sleeve into which you would insert the LP.  This is a photocopy of that, and in two pieces, and there is another photocopy of the "Moon" in the red cellophane cover, but the Moon is the inner sleeve which is not original. The Original copy "moon" inner sleeve is from the Moon and there was NO separate inner sleeve.  Again, this is a photocopy of the mega rare inner sleeve for your enjoyment, but it is NOT an original.  I just wanted to make that VERY clear,  but no worries, the vinyl also comes in a new rice paper sleeve and hand-cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine and in a new rice paper equivalent sleeve so the old Dust does not reattach!  Oh My Gosh!

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.  I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
