ADDITIONAL INFO.

Another rare offering from Collectable Vinyl Records ~ Highly collectable records from the highly trusted Barraclough Brothers

(Click logo for shop)
Bluesology was a 1960s English R&B group.

Set up in 1964 by Long John Baldry (vocals), it featured Reg Dwight (the future Elton John) on keyboards, Caleb Quaye on guitar, and saxophonist Elton Dean. The band backed touring American soul and R&B musicians such as The Isley Brothers, Major Lance, Doris Troy and Patti LaBelle and The Bluebelles. In 1966, it became Baldry's supporting band.Early on their lead singer (guitarist too?) was Stu Brown, as recorded on their 1967 Polydor single 'Since I Found You baby'. This now deleted 7" vinyl is reputedly Elton John's first recording. It features 'Just a Little Bit' on the B-side.  ~ (Wikipedia).

SUPERB PROMOTIONAL ITEM : RARE 1st PRESSING !

As you can see from the photos, the single has been stamped with a release date and had an A written by the record labels promotions team and given out as samples to DJs and music journalists. Obviously the fact that it is a promotional sample, suggests that this is one of the earliest and most rare pressings.  This is backed up by the MATRIX numbers being A1 B1.
