'Studs' was the sole album released by STUDS.
Local teen-sensation MABEL was a big hit in Denmark in the mid-to-late 1970's. The band was a pure pop-band, but slowly evolved into a harder direction.
In 1981 they signed with a Spanish label, Hispavox, and recorded an album, deciding on a new band name to reflect the change in direction. The result was 'Studs', which was released in 1982.
The album didn't gain much traction and it was never released outside of Spain..
About a year later the band broke up and Mike Tramp moved to New York City, where he formed a new band, which would become WHITE LION.
The rest is history.....
