This is simply a marvelous album.
There is no other way to put it, this man at the piano, celebrating the earth now frozen, a night of snow, children.
It was recorded with a Studer A80 at 30ips, then half-speed mastered, and sounds it. But it is the choice of material here…SNOW…MINSTRELS…MIDNIGHT….THE HOLLY AND THE IVY…and, yes, SOME CHILDREN SEE HIM, written by jazz trumpeter, Alfred S. Burt, in 1951, as a gift that bespeaks a universal love of children.
At Mr. Winston's insistence, not one ounce of EQ was used, the final product monitored through his favorite loudspeakers from KEF, Great Britain. That said, don't be surprised, if what I have been told about this record is true:
At first note, all lights in your room automatically dim…and candles come to life on their own.
A beautiful copy, brand-new, factory sealed. The original embossed cover release, not bar coded.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
