Description

SUB POP issue # 3 spring 1981. Very rare music magazine created by Bruce Pavitt before he started the legendary SUB POP record label!!! Condition is really nice VG++ Original hand colored crayon cover! No tears, no missing pages. Has been in storage for almost 30 years! Tons of music reviews ( X, Circle Jerks, Germs, Black Flag, Bush Tetras, Richard Hell, Wipers, Rats, Snatch D.O.A. Subhumans.....) on punk and independent releases, Charts and interviews etc.. Only a small hand made batch were made and I'm sure most copies didn't survive. Inside page says" Hi There, My name is Bruce and we have to decentralize our society and encourage local art and things and music. SUB/POP can be an outlet for this kind of subversive entertainment perspective but only if you help me by writing local gossip and sending it in right away to me with money and photos of you and your friends playing rock star. send it in and I will print it.
