Description

Up for auction is a nice original pressing of the debut self-titled album Suburban Lawns, originally released in the U.S. on I.R.S. Records (0-70024) in 1981:
-Guaranteed original pressing, NOT reissue -Original custom color IRS labels -Original inner sleeve w/ lyrics -No UPC/bar code on cover -Vinyl comes in poly audiophile inner sleeve
Condition: Cover looks nice, still very colorful.  Front is clean with light rub top and bottom middle (see photo).  Back also shows light rubbing at top and a hint of aging to the white at edges.  Common factory cut out top left edge.  Light rub to corners.  Light signs of wear overall, but still nicely preserved original! Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+)
Vinyl looks great, still retains its original glossy shine.  No apparent scratches or scuffs, just some faint superficial signs of having been taken out of paper inner sleeve a few times.  Labels clean, no marks around spindle holes.  Looks like this record have maybe been play only once or twice previously but handled with care. Grade: Near Mint Minus (NM-)

I remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to packing.  I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for padding and protection.  I also reinforce the corners of the shipping box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
