Here’s a handful of classic original First Gen Punk singles – in absolutely top condition (including the sleeves!).
SUBURBAN STUDS – Questions / No Faith ORIG Pogo 45 // POG 001 (UK, Stereo. 1977)
From an initial run of probably 500 only, here’s Suburban Studs very first 45 – this being the first press independent release with the ‘Lee Sounds Studios’ credit and contains the original versions of both the A and B sides with saxophone by Steve Harrington, later of Neon Hearts. Later in 1977, this was remixed, the sax was removed and the two sides were flipped. BUT, here is a TOP example of that first press, released in a plain paper sleeve, which is also present and correct.
The vinyl is in superb, seldom played shape. NO scratches, scuffs, hairlines. NO embedded dirt, grime or dust pockets. Looks like new with near maximum shine. Visually, grades a confident M- (Mint Minus). You’ll be hard pushed to find much better. Brilliant copy!
The labels are solid – no writing, stickers or other damage.
IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and plays tremendously – as you would expect from such a good looking disc. So expect NO snap, crackle or pop, NO ticks, clicks, hiss or distortion. Proper good listen, the play grade at least matches the visual one.
RARE 1st press of this ’77 classic. They don’t show in this condition too often. Don’t miss!
