SUBWAY 's/t' LP (Germany, Amber Soundroom, Catalogue #AS LP 049) Brand new/unplayed copy of long SOLD OUT/OUT OF PRINT limited year 2005 Amber Soundroom label LP edition of MEGA-RARE FRENCH PROGRESSIVE FOLK ROCK ALBUM from 1971 by France based English/American duo Subway. Originally released in France in 1971 on the Epic label. (Warehouse find. Brand new/unplayed copy has a few light pressing scuffs that will not effect playback.)

Subway was a duo consisting of an American and a guy from the UK who released their only album in France in an edition of 200 LPs in 1972. They lived and played for some time as street musicians, even performing their compositions in the Parisian subway, hence the band name. Unfortunately, the album fell through, so the unsold records were melted, as was usual in France at the time. The band performed fantastic psych-folk music with prog-rock elements. An absolutely top album, which hopefully will now reach a bigger audience, as the original LP is very rare.
