CONDITION / ADDITIONAL INFO
SLEEVE. VG. Overall sound condition. Light storage scuffs and light ringwear, mainly to top. Top edge unfortunately has a heavy, 2+1/4 inch seam split. Slight storage scuffs to top corners. VERY small (4mm), light ding to lower right corner. Nice, solid, easily readable spine. No other splits, tears, writing etc. Inner sleeve has light ringwear and one soft ding, top left. Still nice and bright though.
CARRIER BAG. VG. One central storage fold. Lots of light creasing and one surface snag towards the bottom of (and extending beyond) the 'd' on one side of the carrirer. The snag is about 2+3/4 inches long and has a side branch (running below and towards the centre of the 'e') measuring c.1+1/2 inches. It takes the form of a raised, dotted line with little or no colour loss. At no point does this snag open-up a tear in the bag though and neither does it carry through to the other side. Otherwise all edges are strong and intact with no splits or tears and it still retains strong, unused handles. For the puposes of posting to the winning bidder (should there be one of course) the bag can either be gently folded on two sides to snugly fit the album (this is how my own copy is filed) or equally gently folded into quarters and inserted into the outer sleeve. The choice will be yours.
RECORD. VG. A good clean copy that you can still see your reflection in with light, sleeve removal, hairlines. IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a tiny (c.3mm) pressing flaw lying in between tracks 1 and 2 on side 1. It takes the form of a little, black, diagonal fleck lying directly inbetween the tracks. At the end of the very final, sustained guitar note that ends 'So Young' it's effect is to cause a kick-back or 'stick' that's only passable by lifting the needle just literally a couple of grooves into the opening bars of 'Animal Nitrate' whereupon normal play resumes and stays that way for the rest of the album. This is NOT a scratch resulting from careless handling but a small pressing imperfection which has clearly been there from 'new'. Otherwise there's the occasional light, sub-track click and pop but nothing that overtly interferes with the overall sound of this excellent, nay kicking, genre-defining album. Still plays strong and powerful. I've played it from start to finish so, rest assured, it's been fully test-played. Labels still sharp and bright with not a trace of spindle wear. Natrually, being one of the initial copies, it also has the A1/B1 matrices for those who care about such things.
