I will be offering a selection from my personal collection of 60s to early 70s Garage, Pop and Rock.

      SUGAR CUBE BLUES BAND    "SUGAR CUBE BLUES BAND"  ROCKADELIC  RRLP 21  1967/1995  OUT OF PRINT

 

     These really cool recordings lie dormant until the creator; Rich Haupt of this Mega Kool record reissue label processed the tapes and turned on the vinyl creation machine and printed up a batch. Originally produced by Jim Dickerson (Big Star, Green On Red) at the legendary Ardent Studio in 1967, these were the songs from the mind of Bill Crowder; vocals and harmonica and arranged by guitarist Budley Bays. Twelve beauties; about half of which are stalk acoustic songs of Crowder and the others with full band varying from the popish "Shades of Life' to the  psychish "Run Run Run"...the best of the batch was their lone single release here "My Last Impression"...Other titles include "Never Think About Today", "Summer Sunset/ Winter Sky", "Step Into Your Life' and "Learn to be Yourself"...This is not really a blues band as it is a search for creative soul wanderings !   Too Hard to Find Now....GOOD LUCK
