Description
Every Tuesday night (European time) I will offer old punky records. My name is ‘punky_music’
Legendary electro industrial synth experimental album from New York City. This all-time classic was produced by Craig Leon who also produced the first RAMONES album. Co-producer was 'Red Star' label owner and NEW YORK DOLLS manager Marty Thau. You are bidding on the first LP by SUICIDE and with the band is Alan Vega and Martin Rev. First pressings were born in 1977. This is the harder to find re-pressing from 1980. Issued in a totally different picture sleeve. What makes this re-pressing so special? It includes the following three bonus tracks: 'Keep Your Dreams' / '96 Tears' [live at the Kant Kino, Berlin, 1978] and 'I Remember' [U.K. b side of "Cheree" in 1978]. However 'Girl' from the 1977 version of the album has been removed from the tracklisting. If that's not enough, this edition came with a 9” Flexi Disc which entitled '23 Minutes In Bruxelles', recorded at the Ancienne Belgique, Brussels, 16th June 1978 The tracks on the double-sided Flexi Disc named 'Frankie A' on the A-side and 'Frankie B' on the flip. The album also includes ‘Ghost Rider’ / ‘Rocket U.S.A.’ / ‘Cheree’ / ‘Johnny’ / ‘I Remember' / 'Keep Your Dreams' / 'Frankie Teardrop' / 'Che' and '96 Tears' (live). The Flexi Disc is in EX- condition and the condition of the album is:
