Description
SUICIDE original Red Star 1978 UK debut LP poster, Punk Electro KBD.
23 ins / 59 cm x 15.5 ins / 39 cm
Pulled from a display in the corridor of Barbarella's Club, Birmingham on the band's date there on 17th July 1978. This was Suicide's second visit to the city in the same week and followed their appearance with The Clash on their 'On Parole' tour on the 12th. The gig was eventful to say the least as Suicide had been booked into the clubs smaller side room - 'The Pose' - but double booked with a wedding party! The poster was snatched down and saved by a young record shop manager in Birmingham and was folded and saved in his collection since then. There is damage to the poster surface where the poster was pulled from its original stapled display and folded but there is virtually no paper loss and the poster would still display very well if professionally framed. There is also blu-tac staining to the corners - Please study the photographs here as they form an important part of the description.
The poster will be sent tracked and insured. Please message for overseas shipping options
