Carl Perkins- ORIGINAL SUN 78 SONGS ARE: Boppin' The Blues / All Mama's Children SUN # 243 78 10" record album. Engraved on each side is sun 194 20 , and Sun 195 20. Labels are in very good condition with the exception of the small blackened area near center hole on All Mama's Children side (see pictures). The vinyl is in good condition with not cracks or scratches. There are a few minor surface scuffs but they do not seem to affect the play. No skips or jumps. It does show signs of wear from playing. It probably needs a good cleaning but I heard some low hiss in the background in places on my player. Probably from play wear is my thought. All Mama's Children side was good but the hiss was at the first of the Boppin' the Blues. IT soon faded out and rest of the song played good. I adjusted it down with my tone control. It may just need a good cleaning. I am not a record professional so keep that in mind! I had to borrow a record player so I could listen to these. My own player only does CDs not 10" records!! I guess times have changed. I do try to describe my listings as accurately as possible and almost all my customers say their item was as described or better. Please check my feedback. What a great addition to your collection! This album comes from a collection that dates back to the 1940's. I have 4 of Elvis Sun records I will be listing in seperate auctions (another 209, 210, 223). Plus a number of his other early records plus Buddy Holly and Carl Perkins to name a few.
