This auction is for a copy of the early Sun Records Johnny Cash EP 113. This record's jacket looks marvelous with its only flaw being a 2 mm tear in the left upper corner (see images). This record features the following songs: "I Walk the Line," "Doin' Time," "Folson Prison Blues," and "The Wreck of the Old '97." EPs are very sought after today because of their rarity. Back in the late 50s and early 60s most people either bought singles or the entire long play album, few people wanted to pay more for the EP and only get a couple more songs. If you were going to spend more than a dollar a 45 rpm record...just buy the full length album. Today those that have survived usually have been separated from their cardboard jacket or sleeve. Girls would often use the jackets as 'pin ups,' so on occasion you may see holes in the corners of an EP jacket. This is not the case here though. This is simply beautiful.
