This auction is for a pair of original classic SUN Records LP’s by Johnny Cash titled “Johnny Cash With His Hot & Blue Guitar’” & “The Songs That Made Him Famous”.

This album was put out on the Sun Records (his 1st LP) label, SLP 1220 (Re-channeled Stereo) in 1956.

This record is an original 1961 (2nd pressing).

Record label is clean with very little wear. Name written on one side.

The LP itself is conservatively rated at very good condition. Deep gloss, with small scratches & scuffs visible under the right lighting.

Cover listed as very good. Small area (1”) of the side showing some chipping/future splitting. Photos give you a good idea of the condition. The front & back are in very good condition, with no tape or tearing. Name written on front cover.

The second album “The Songs That Made Him Famous” is a Capitol Records Club Edition on the Sun Label #DT-90668 in re-channeled Stereo from 1966 (2nd pressing).

Record label is clean with very little wear.

The LP itself is conservatively rated at very good condition. Deep gloss, with small scratches & scuffs visible under the right lighting.

Cover listed as very good. Some splitting on bottom edge. Photos give you a good idea of the condition. The front & back are in very good condition, with no writing, tape or tearing.

Overall…nice LP’s for the average collector.
