Interstellar Low Ways by Sun Ra and His Myth Science Arkestra.
Travel the spaceways with the legendary Sun Ra and troupe in pre-electric mode.
Released by Ra’s own El Saturn label, this is #203 with the Chicago address. I refer you to the online Sun Ra discographies for this title’s history.
Based on label style, my estimate is late 60s - mid 70s for this pressing, but that’s only a guess. The original release under this title in 1967 seemed to have had a differently designed label.
Researching Sun Ra LPs is complicated, so seek out your own enlightenment with diligence. I make no assurances other than as stated.
LP is in very good condition, from a personal Ra collection, commercially purchased in 80s.
VERY slight manufacturer’s pocking on vinyl that does not affect play - I’m saying this FYI. No scratches or marring; has been played more than once but it’s been well cared for. See photos and magnify as necessary!
Jacket in good condition; has dings, visible disc shadow and shelf wear, but no rips, sticker marks or seam tearing - again, see photos and magnify as necessary!
Paper sleeve included, but will ship disc in plastic lined sleeve and carefully pack it outside the jacket.
Interplanetary music for Sun Ra aficionados. A great band from the early 60s including John Gilmore, Ronnie Boykins, Marshall Allen, Pat Patrick, et al. playing a great selection of Sun Ra compositions.
