SUN RA & HIS SOLAR-MYTH ARKESTRA LP THE SOLAR-MYTH APPROACH vol. 1 (BYG/Actuel Records 529340). Released 1971.
Early French pressing on the black BYG label. High quality printing with unusual color tone: Vivid photo of Mr. Ra communing before the "orb." Light water stain covers about 5% of the front cover & inside gatefold. This does not seriously hinder my visual enjoyment. Stored long term in a protective polybag & plastic inner sleeve. Recorded in 1970-71 in New York City at the Sun Studios. Marshall Allen, Pat Patrick & John Gilmore on saxophones. Even more great band pics on inside gatefold. Deep rich color tones. Beautiful cover art. (Matrix #: "529340A/B").

No seam splits, cuts, tears, tape, bubbles, cut-out marks, writing, price tags, or stickers on the thick, sturdy cover. Light water stain covers 5% of front cover & inside gatefold. Spine looks very nice & is fully readable. No front ring wear; light rear ring wear. A little corner banging. Label is in excellent condition with no stains, tears, scuffs or writing. Sharp-cut hole free of spindle brushings.
DISC - NM
Free of scratches, scuffs, flecks skips, warping, and residue on the disc or dead wax. Some shallow inaudible pits on platter surface. Nice reflective sheen on the grooves. Album has been safely stored upright in smoke-free, climate-controlled conditions.
