This LP came from the collection of a deceased local vinyl aficionado who was extremely meticulous w/ all of his records; all were purchased new - i.e. ONE OWNER DISCS - most kept in polyvinyl sleeves from day 1, many w/ original shrink unremoved, all handled super carefully, played sparingly & on quality audiophile equipment, including top-notch turntable/stylus. More from this collection for auction now + additional coming soon...

#1 Record LP - BIG STAR (Ardent ADS-2803)

Original 1972 U.S. stereo LP. Bona fide classic debut album in ABSOLUTELY STUNNING condition. Cover still in original shrink & vinyl is BRILLIANT. Dead wax info: Side 1 = STXS-0178-5    AS-0401  h  50N / Side 2 = STXS-0261-6  AS-0406-RR M11  L.NIX   THE MORE YOU LEARN THE LESS YOU KNOW

One owner, handled carefully, played lightly, stored correctly... an AWESOME copy!

Disc = NEAR MINT- to NEAR MINT (HIGHEST of HIGH GLOSS, w/ virtually NO hairlines to be seen! looks/sounds SIMPLY INCREDIBLE!)

Cover - see pix; in original, tight SHRINK; 2 tiny breathe holes in front shrink; BRIGHT, VIVID COLORS on front & back, w/ NO WEAR WHATSOEVER under shrink; small wear/tiny chips in both top & bottom right corner of seams; lite chipping/lamination cracks along front right edge + a tiny bit along back left edge; tiny wear in bottom left corner; a few tiny holes in shrink; tiny price sticker residue on front shrink; a FANTASTIC looking cover; any questions?, please ask

Labels = see pix; tiny chip + small crack by center hole on side 1; chipping + wear by center hole on side 2; wear on DG on side 2; maybe a couple of super faint spindle marks by center hole, it's hard-to-say definitively
