Some 20 years on, the Welsh maverick indie five-piece revisit one of their most lavish and quietly strange works. Recorded in the heat of Figueres, Catalonia and later mixed near Rio, this reissue captures a band at peak freedom - swapping lead vocals, trading ideas and letting the studio's atmosphere seep into the music. The newly unearthed material, including Daf Ieuan's glam-strutting 'Rock 'N' Roll Flu' and the ghostly sketch 'Bedw Arian', deepens the record's dreamlike pull. Across 'Zoom!', 'Lazer Beam' and 'Back On A Roll', the group stretch between psychedelic pop, orchestral grandeur and playful absurdity, held together by an undeniable melodic generosity. It still sounds borderless, sunlit and completely their own.
