ARTIST:     SUPER K -
TITLES:        "RECURRING NIGHTMARE" /"GO-GO" .
FORMAT:     …vinyl 7" single…
LABEL:          CITADEL .
CATALOGUE #:  CIT-016  .
DATE OF RELEASE:  1986 .
PRESSED IN:    AUSTRALIA .

ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?:    Of this version, yes, it is...but it had previously been issued in 1982 on G.R.E.E.N. Records, with a different pic sleeve and a reversed track order...both sides produced by Radio Birdman's Rob Younger (creditted as Ayatollah Smith).

Band was an Oz garage supergroup, featuring:

BRAD SHEPHERD - FUN THINGS, HOODOO GURUS

KEN DOYLE - LAST WORDS, THOUGHT CRIMINALS, NEW CHRISTS

CLYDE BRAMLEY - HITMEN, OTHER SIDE, MINUTEMAN, HOODOO GURUS

FRANK BRUNETTI - DIED PRETTY

PAUL THIRKELL - HOI POLLOI

'A' side is an awesome psychedelic track, written by Shepherd, Thirkell, and Ron Peno (of Died Pretty)...and sung by Shepherd...'B' side is pure 60's Kasenatz-Katz style bubblegum - two girl singers, cheesy organ - a great copy of that sound. But it's the amazing 'A' side you're here for.

CONDITION - COVER:  ( M- )  Beautiful!...so close to mint...see pix...

CONDITION - RECORD:  ( EX )  Has loads of its original shine with a few light scuffs/marks (only - nothing heavy at all)...very nice condition...plays so close to perfect...

CONDITION - LABELS:  (Side One: MINT / Side Two: MINT )...has NO spindle marks on labels - looks barely played...

PACKAGING AND MAILING:  Absolutely ALL care will be taken when packaging this - record and sleeve will be separated to avoid any damage in transit, and both will be packed in a sealed outer light plastic sleeve between layers of strong very flat and thick card - I've been doing this for a while and have perfected a good safe packing standard.

If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my feedback for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks).
