PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. The MC5 play songs from the legendary "Kick Out The Jams" album as well as some classic rockin' throbbers (Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, "Gloria," "Louie, Louie"), which they probably played because the riddim boyzzz knew 'em. All tracks played are exclusive (vastly different) versions exclusive to this album only ...Never repressed on LP and never issued on cd...The 'rarest' MC5 ... "Kick Copenhagen" 1972
The concert info for this illustrious and very last MC5 show as follows;
The biggest bang heard from Detroit called the MC 5 can for the first time be experienced in Denmark tonight where the American group will be playing at the Hoeje Gladsaxe Schools (Hoeje Gladsaxe Torv (square, ed.) 4). Entrance fee is as modest as Kr. 8,- (US$ 1.00), doors opens at 7 pm.
MC5 was just a few years ago among the forefront of the most revolutionary groups ever. Not so much in regard to the music, it was just loud and wild, but in the message that their then manager John Sinclair had provided them with. Sinclair, who since then has spent a considerable amount of time in prison for a marijuana conviction, was leader of the White Panther Party and songs like Kick Out The Jams passed on the messages on to Detroit and whoever cared to listen. The press coverage of the MC 5 was extensive from Newsweek to Time and Rolling Stone but now there has been silent around the group for a long time. They themselves declare that they have begun anew despite everybody says that they are through. Who is proven right can be heard in Gladsaxe, Denmark tonight:
