Bespoke vinyl for Rhythm & Soul Dancers
Super rare private press of Kent & The Candidates first outing "I Gotta Feelin". Fronted by drummer/vocalist Kent Sprague who later backed Brenton Woods at Double Shot. I recently found Kent on facebook and asked after this his first record. He says he can't remember how many they pressed, but it was in the hundreds because they had no money. He says they only managed to sell a few at gigs and the rest were either thrown away or stored in the attic.

I spent many years on the mod and soul scene in London, some of it as a DJ, so I feel I know what dancers want to hear, and do not label every record made in the 1960's as 'mod/northern soul' which drives me nuts! For now I am not set up to insert sound clips of the actual record for sale so grading is visual, but rest assured if you are not happy with my grading then please do contact me for a full refund.
