Description
Here is it...the original Mercury Records release that was pulled off the shelves when Charles Manson did his thing...making this one of the rarest records from the late 60's and this example is primo.
Original gatefold intact with nude sacrifice scene and printed lyrics/Black Mass pages. Overall condition is very good; I'm not an expert at grading vinyl, but I know this one has significant value so I'll try to point out as many issues as I can see.
Cover condition: Very slight ringwear on on front cover, mostly noticeable for about 3 inches above the "Witchcraft" printing. Back cover has an indentation that runs from the top right corner to about the center (See pic). There is also slight corner press, but overall the cover is in excellent shape. The colors are vibrant and cardboard is all strong and unworn.
Record condition: Some scuffing and very light scratching that may lead to pops, but no deep scratches. Again, I'm by no means an expert but I would grade it "VG". Vinyl is shiny and center white promo label is flawless.
