~~ one-off copy unearthed ~~
Unearthed this very scarce LP release, recorded in 1967 by The Haymarket Riot one of several teen-scene bands from around the country, who called themselves "The Haymarket Riot"
WILD Garage/Psychedelic/underground Berkeley band of local popularity came together in the fall of 1966 following a personnel change in the earlier Berkeley garage group "The Livin' End."
The original Haymarket Riot line-up was Peter Barsotti (vocals), Dave Carpender (guitar, vocals), Mark Batterman (guitar, vocals), Steve Barsotti (bass, vocals) and Steve Nelson (drums). Mark Batterman left the band in 1967 , to form The John Douglas Company, and was replaced by Scott Donaldson (guitar). The group changed their name to Lazarus possibly in 1968. The Haymarket Riot sadly did not release any of their material during their existence. However their 1967 tracks were released a good 20 years ago on the highly rated Swedish-only "R.D." lavish production.
The eye-popping gatefold cover is of an OVER SIZED triple-thick cardboard nature, layered with a outer high-class finish like you've never before seen - until this R.D. Records release.

The vinyl: Rated: M- heavy gauge 180 gram vinyl is a nice match to the cover production... There are NO issues, so plays mint clean. The R.D. labels are as well clean A cool addition to anyone's music library!
