Description
VERY RARE COLUMBIA SAX 2397 TEST PRESS 2 x LP
UK STEREO 1961 FIRST PRESS TEST PRESS MATRIX YAX 691-3 / YAX 692-2 BOTH DISCS ONE SIDED.
SCHUBERT C MAJOR SYMPHONY 'THE GREAT' KLEMPERER, THE PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA
£5 start and no reserve!
Vinyl
Lovely clean copy - hasn't seen much play, with a wonderful loud, clear and dynamic audio on my Linn. Disc 2 (side two) is barely played and grades a strong Nr Mint. Disc 1 (side one), grades a nice Ex++, would also have been NM but for 4 or 5 small tics at the end of side one - manufacturing.. not a single mark on the vinyl. Doesn't detract from the overall playback though, which is really excellent, and there's certainly no skips or major problems at this point. Great playing copy, and a lovely example of this rare SAX test press.
Labels
Test press labels a nice Ex++ with company writing and stamps.
Sleeve
Front laminated G&L sleeve a nice solid Ex with just some general storage. Please see photos for more details.
Vinyl ships in new white paper sleeve for protection.
Grading strictly based on the RRPG Guidelines
Postage: the postage for this item is for UK and international tracked & signed.
I pack professionally, with cruciform mailers, new inners and outers, plenty of stiffeners, and record packed outside of the sleeve to avoid seam splits.
