It was made to be a promotional item, sent to record stores to advertise the release of this vinyl.

Limited Edition Pressing on red wax!
ONLY 100 COPIES were pressed on red vinyl.
 
There was a common black vinyl pressing, and another limited edition collectible in the form of a GREEN VINYL version! (We sold one recently. Quite rare also)
WE are actually the label that pressed and put out the vinyl, and I can fully attest to the fact that there were only 100 red copies.  AND we were very surprised that we had any left.  So if you'd like to have a Supersuckers rarity that we guarantee to be UNPLAYED and legitimately rare (lots of people throw that word around, so we try to mean it), here's your chance, champ.

ANYWAY, you're not just bidding on a RED VINYL copy of one of their top 3 albums... we're throwing in a promotional-only two-sided reversible poster made to send to retail outlets and concert venues.  Never sold in stores!  The poster measures 11" x 17", is a heavy semi-gloss paper stock, and has a slight variation of the back and front cover art for the album.  See the photos.

the front cover art on the other side
so you can decide what you want to hang on your wall. 
Or in your locker.  Or on your tennis shoe.
 
The compact disc was issued on Koch Records.  (please note, you're not bidding on the CD. we're just pointing out the fact that the compact disc and vinyl LP were two different things issued by different record labels).

We're rather amazed when we take the care that we do with the vinyl we sell, and then see another seller make more money selling the exact same item
in worse shape, and their picture shows the record out of its cover and out of its sleeve lying on a surface!  I believe the "problem" is that we try to describe every item
in detail so that you'll know exactly what you're getting.  Many sellers will simply say "excellent" "mint" or "great", having no idea what those terms mean in relation to the Goldmine Grading System.  We tell you exactly what you're getting, and even if it's been to hell and back, we still treat it like it's a piece of your mother.  Sometimes it's the detail that screws things up, I think.  If we were vague, like most sellers, you'd just see the name of the band, the title, and a picture, and you'd buy it.  Oh well.

Many sellers seem to have a disregard for the items they're selling and only care about making their pictures look pretty.  We only care about the pieces we sell.  And you.  So you'll see that the records are displayed IN THEIR ORIGINAL SLEEVES, with just a hint of the vinyl showing so that you can see what color they are.  If you want to see the vinyl pulled from its sleeve and resting on a dusty surface, look at someone else's auction or blog and then come back to our page and buy our copy in PERFECT SHAPE.
