Description
This is "SUPERTRAMP" the 1st vinyl album (LP) released by SUPERTRAMP back in 1970. I bought this STEREO album when it was released in July 1970.
The LP is the original first pressing on the orange/tan label and the matrix numbers in the vinyl runout are:
- Side A etched AMLS 981 A 1
- Side B etched AMLS 981 .B1.
I use the Record Collector Vinyl Grading system, which can be viewed at: http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/RECORD-COLLECTOR-VINYL-RECORD-GRADING-GUIDE-/10000000001916909/g.html
The vinyl is visually in superb EX+ condition, looking nearly new, apart from a small barely-visible surface scuff on Track 1 side 2 - this does not affect the audio. During play test it also played superbly, like a new record, quiet between tracks and no noise during the quieter moments, and is hence rated MINT- for audio
The cover has a clean black shiny laminate, with good corners, an excellent spine and only some lifting of the laminate on the edges (see photos), which is very common. Hard to believe that it is nearly 50 years old. The rating for the cover is EX
The record will be posted in a MusicMAX STRONG LOCKTAB RECORD MAILER.
