Description
Up for auction is a copy of Susan Christie’s rare 45 “No-one Can Hear You Cry”, backed with “When Love Comes”, released circa 1970 on Chante Records, cat no 202. Susan’s great lost LP “Paint A Lady” has recently been issued on Finders Keepers. However, equally obscure is this single, presumably released around the time the LP was recorded, comprised of two tracks from the LP. I’ve never come across Chante Records before, so I guess this was a private release. Anyway, this 45 contains two slices of great, mysterious folk/psych, as atmospheric as it comes.
Condition: looks unplayed, but call it M-.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
