Susan Pillsbury, self-titled, Sweet Fortune SFS-804, sealed. Year of release is 1973. This is a listing for an extremely rare piece, and it is factory sealed! Tracks include Brown Eyes, Never Said Goodbye, Heaven, Highway, Love Never Dies, I Thought I Knew The Answers, It's Hard To Be Easy, Joe And Luther, You Found Me, and Goodnight. Jacket is in near mint condition underneath the shrink wrap except for some very slight crunches at three corners and what appears to be a slight wrinkle at the lower right corner. This wrinkle does not extend to the back cover. It may be possible that the wrinkle is an illusion, but I do not believe so. The wrinkling looks like it could be a result of damage caused at the pressing plant or by the distributor or shipper in handling. The shrink wrap has near microscopic surface wear. This wear can only be seen if the cover is tilted at a particular slant. Since this item is sealed, satisfaction is guaranteed only if it is returned in the same condition in which it was sent (sealed). A sealed LP can be opened with the shrink wrap left intact if it is rubbed at the opening against denim. The jacket is rubbed up and down quickly at the opening. The friction created from just a few times back and forth will enable the LP to simply pop open. The LP will be played and recorded once on high end audiophile equipment employing Basis Ovation, Graham Industries, Transfiguration (Phoenix), Sound Applications, and Jeff Rowland componentry. You will be furnished with a free copy of the CD. If you do not have an audiophile system, it is possible that the CD will sound better than the record on your system. This is because in part you will listening to an altogether different system with respect to the phono amplifier, tonearm, cartridge, and turntable. Unlike with most sealed records, you will have a guarantee that extends to the vinyl itself. If there are any factory defects such as warping (The LP cover is perfectly flat making such possibility unlikely), defective labeling, mold growth (what causes "fuzz spots"), etc., they will be revealed through opening. Presumably, if the record does not turn out to be perfect, you will either be able to acquire it at a lower price, or you may exercise your right to refuse to go ahead with the transaction. I would relist the record, explain the defect, and allude to this listing so that other prospective bidders will realize that the LP will have been played only once.
