In Great Vinyl Condition
debut album that introduced her to the world with her eponymous titled LP,
with smash hits like ‘Can The Can’, ‘Primitive Love’, ‘48 Crash’ and ‘Shakin’ All Over’.
The next album is the 1974 ‘Quatro’ LP with eleven tracks and every one a winner,
including ‘Devil Gate Drive’, ‘The Wild One’, ‘Move It’ and ‘Hit The Road Jack’.
The third selection is the 1975 ‘Your Mama Won’t Like Me’ with ten songs including
‘Strip Me’, ‘New Day Woman’, ‘Fever’ and the hit single ‘Your Mama Won’t Like Me’.
The fourth album is a 1976 British import entitled ‘Aggro-Phobia’, which must be noted
that imports have a higher sound quality due to the better European vinyl pressings.
Great songs on this album include ‘Heartbreak Hotel’, ‘Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me),
‘American Lady’ and ‘Wake Up Little Suzi’.
The fifth LP is the 1978 ‘If You Knew Suzi...’ which is still Quatro’s highest-charting album
in the United States due in part because of her hit duet with Chris Norman named “Stumblin’ In”.
Other songs include her covers of the Rick Derringer classic ‘Rock And Roll Hoochie Koo’
and Tom Petty’s brilliant ‘Breakdown’.
Truly five rare gems of a find, all produced by pop rock guru Mike Chapman.
